OMG I don't know where to start. PLEASE avoid this and the people associated with it.

The man who markets it is a crook. I've known him personally for years and he will make up anything and everything he can to convince sick folks to waste their money on his scam.

He ADMITTED to me that he claimed to have bartonella to make "prospective" clients think his crazy beeping therapy was more effective.

He had to switch the name of his crock business from IRT to ACT since people caught on to his scam.

He is a sick, money hungry snake oil salesman who makes his living profiting off those of us desperate for a cure.

Look up DURIANJUICEMAN on myspace. He also markets some ridiculous juice drink that claims, just like ACT, to cure every ailment from MS to arthritis to lyme to sore joints.

Please save your money. Please.

OMG! I am about to sign up for ACT. I listened in on a phone session and they all seemed to have improvement each week of doing "The codes"
I filled out paper work and was about to have it all sent to him. The phone session seemed so convincing.....Sasha, your sure? How do these people swear that the Advanced Cell Training works?

thanks

I listened to a phone session too. Seemed like a scam to me. Plus, he friended me on FB because I have Lyme connections. He called me on my cell?? I didn't ask for that. He mailed me stuff at home and hounded me until I listened to a phone call.

He said his son had Lyme and was cured in 4 weeks. My son could have a quick recovery with this. I just don't see how a bunch of beeps are going to get rid of bugs, heavy metals and viruses.

I thought since he offered money back if you opt out after 4 weeks it would be legit.
But sure doesn't sound like it. I trust you guys so might be smart for me to skip it. just one more thing....what do you think about the money back guarentee? maybe not for real, more scam?

Thanks - so glad for your advise!

If you want to try it... and ask for your money back if it doesn't seem to be working... report back here if you do think it's working, that's your choice. I have not spoken to anyone who has tried it.

I was offered names and numbers of people by the owner of ACT... but I just didn't trust him enough to believe the "references" he was giving me were legit. I have learned to trust my instincts.

It goes to close to the, "It's all in your head" diagnoses for me and my son. I am all for positive thinking and we have watched "What the Bleep" "The Secret" We watch comedies and use positive talk.

I have medical tests that say there is infection, there are parasites, there is heavy metal poison in our bodies... no amount of beeps is going to solve that.

Yes, I am 150% SURE that ACT is a scam. I am not speaking as a disgruntled former customer, I am speaking out because I KNOW the man who markets this. I was personally friends with him for many years.

I am not allowed to mention his name on here, but I'd be more than happy to send any of you a PM.

He threatens legal action against anyone discussing him on the site.

You would think that it would be good marketing to have his "you can cure Lyme and every other disease out there" discussed on a site with 20,000 members, right?

However, there are MANY of us on here that know him, know his history of marketing fake cures, and so he will start threatening those of us who are speaking out against him.

He PM'ed one of the members on here that was trying to let everyone know that his IRT..umm, ACT, was fake. He sent her her home address with the message that he'd be showing up at her door "real soon. It terrified her.

Although, he couldn't possibly sue me for telling folks the TRUTH.

He said his "son" had Lyme? He doesn't HAVE a son. He has a college age daughter and she most certainly does not and has never had Lyme.

And of course he is going to call you. Selling his beeping scam is his income!

He called me one night after he had been drinking way too much and I asked him how in the world he could handle drinking after he'd had a tick borne illness. He told me "Oh, I never had that, it's just easier to get customers to relate if they think I've had Lyme. I thought saying I had bartonella was close enough."

I've thought so many times, I should've called him back and gotten him to repeat it while recording him so I could play it on FB for the poor Lyme sufferers he has fooled. And all the other sick people that he claims to be able to help with his cure-all telephone beeps.

He claims that not only does his crap cure Lyme, but just about any other illness under the sun.

You listen to beeps and then he tries to convince you that you are feeling better.

He has been marketing various fake cures for years. He says that he has had "personal" success with every single one. If this man really had all the ailments he claims to have been cured from by his fantastic inventions, he would have had to be the unluckiest guy on earth.

He makes me sick! I looked into him before I ended our friendship, and found out that he has claimed to have all sorts of afflictions just to sell his fake cures.

Before I knew any of this, he tried to sell me his beeping alien therapy for half-price because I was his "friend."

For his generous "offer", of course, he wanted me to write a testimonial about what a wonderful cure it was. He even offered to pay me for my made-up testimonial.

I wish so badly that I could tell everyone that his ridiculous cure is a huge fake that he is making a huge amount of money on.

I really hope one day someone is successful in exposing him for the lying thief that he is.

You would be better off to put your money through a shredder than to waste it on this crock.

As for as the money back guarantee... That may be legit but when I looked into it more I found 1 month is never enough to know if its working so you keep going and then if you decide its not working you are out the money. I never did move forward with it so I don't have any experience beyond this.

I'm glad jennie asked!

Thanks for all your input. I almost signed up but I guess I will be getting calls from him hounding me. It is pretty bad for someone to be scaming people that are so desperate for a cure that they will believe anything. It's not only the money, but wasting hours each day with the cd and codes. I just hope I'm not desperate and gullible enough to be talked into it again when he calls me!

thanks Sasha, and all!

I will tell you guys that although I did not stick with it, I DID HERX from the very First Session. I stopped treating with everything around the time I did this to be sure that whatever I would feel would be from this.

I'm not as spiritual as one should be. My faith needs alot of work, but I have my reasons for that. I'm just stating this b/c there was no Placebo effect when I got this. The flu like symptoms, body aches, chills, nausea all came on within about 2 hours of the very first class. I was so cold I had to get in the tub.

It never happened again and I did 6 classes, so I stopped, but it would just be too coincidental to Herx from the first class and 2 hours after it.

I'm a big skeptic of something like this. I tried to be open minded and just go with it. I only stopped not b/c I wasn't herxing, but I didn't feel any improvement at all.

Just thought I'd throw that in there. There appears to be something to ACT IMHO.

www.newenglandwellness.com

This is the website of the guy who markets ACT. He has products for every single part of your body that are "better than medicine."

If you read through all his claims about how all of his very own products made him well, it will give you a good idea of what his intentions are.

Rub his lotion on your body, and you will be well. Drink his juice, and you will be well. Listen to his alien beeps, and you will be well. Just keep in mind that every bit of the profit goes to him.

Thus why he is so adament to push ACT and all his other fake cure products on sick people. Without us, he would not be able to live next door to one of the homes Steven Tyler lives in.

Gary, did he ask you to stop ALL meds before beginning ACT?

Oh yes, the money back guarantee. Try to drop out before a month is up, and you wil get phone calls from no less than 10 ppl telling you "don't give up, it takes more than a month!" I don't believe he had EVER issued a refund.

I was never asked to stop meds and I do think that I did as I was in a bad Herx anyway if I remember correctly.

I will say it again, I did Herx from the first class.

I didn't Herx thereafter and honestly didn't want to put all of my eggs into one basket that I do agree is far out there, so I did stop after the 6th session.

Not sure why everyone has a problem with the money part. If I had the cure for Lyme and still had to live, I would make the cure affordable. If I was dedicating my life to it, then I would have to charge for it.

Not sure how this is different then the 2K per mos. one LLLMD that comes to mind charges per mos. just for being his patient. I hear he has a pretty nice house too.

I think this thread comes down to Plausibility. It just sounds too far to be fetched. And I do agree with that, however, I also do believe in higher powers and that the body can heal itself. Not so sure with this disease, but anything is possible.

The ACT owner has taken alot of heat from the Lyme community.

I can only tell you that many in the classes were reporting feeling better in many ways. I was never one of them, but again, I did Herx, the story of my life. If it was placebo, then so be it. No different than an ionic foot bath.

Watched a guy put an organic carrot today on youtube in an ionic foot bath and it showed yeast, and turned orange brown with sludge right in front of the camera.

This will be my last post on this subject. Felt compelled to share my thoughts.

Gary

It's not the money part. If it was real, I'd spend my life savings on it to get well.

Let's see...How could a scam be different from a true LLMD? An LLMD has every right to own the better things in life. The are truly putting their careers on the line to help us.

If anyone would like to try it, then by all means, go right ahead. I mean, it DOES cure every illness under the sun, right?

I don't see LLMDs scanning the support groups on the web and FB and then friending them so he can slip in "have you ever tried ACT? My wife, son, neighbor, neighbor's neighbor, second cousin's nephew's brother in law and half the world have all gotten well from it!"

What a poor ACT owner. Faking out sick people and making money from it. Yeah, I feel for him.

If it was legit, I'd be screaming it from the rooftops.

Unfortunately, I know otherwise. Straight from the horse's mouth. You choose to believe that is it far-fetched, go ahead. I can't stop everyone from gaining the false hope that this BS will cure them.

Nuff said.

I also know several people who were "on the inside" that were threatened by him and got away when they found out it was a scam. I myself had become friends with him when he created what appeared to be a wonderful Lyme site but was in fact nothing more than a feeder site for his business. Once that was discovered, we created Lyme Friends as a genuine alternative and several of us worked hard to expose him. Some of the people working with ACT still harrass me from that, which was almost three years ago.

One of my friends who tried it said one of the tapes sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks. The whole thing makes no sense whatsoever. I even sent away for the DVD and my husband and I were shocked at how ridiculous it was, and could not imagine how any educated person could fall for this.

They are slick marketeers, I have heard firsthand from SEVERAL people on the inside, that would report the exact same thing you are hearing here, but many are afraid of the way they have been threatened.

They have also been investigated by the Attorney General in Rhode Island, and are not allowed to ever refer to themselves as a treatment or a cure.

I was attacked by them, and was shocked at the drastic change in personality when the leader went from charming to NASTY once I figured him out. SCARY!!!! No question it is a scam, there are WAY too many people who have seen it to be that firsthand. They pay people to write those testimonials. Seriously, these people are almost brainwashed to think it is helping them.

Critical thinking, reason and logic should tell you this is not possible. Yes, I ran into this term "advanced cell training" on youtube or somewhere somehow and found it shocking, but hey magic water called homeopathy is very popular all over the world. It is just magic water with a label. Magic is not part of science and they actually fund homeopathy in England health services. The government funding medicine based on magic is crazy.

^^ Don't really see why you resurrected this thread to post that, especially when it's bound to incite debate about the merits of homeopathy.

advanced cell training isn't homeopathy let's not tie the two together.

I could say pharmacology and homeopathy are grounded in science, but I think homeopathy has done a better job of it. Especially since its all over the news about how all studies leading to pharmacology are flawed using poor study methodology. So logic would say how much better homeopathy is to the flawed methodology that is pharmacology.

I tried it and it did not work whenit was called IRT. To get me to try it again the guy offered some free sessions. They did not work, either. He claimed to be able to tell me from several thousand miles away that gluten was not a problem for me. I am a celiac and know that gluten is a problem.

Definite scam.
