Hi guys,
I'm doing pretty well, so I thought I'd share with you what I did to get here.
Going to the gym - I increased slowly. I do weights and run for 20 minutes on the days that I don't do weights. I find that I have to exercise, better earlier in the day, or I'm more likely to have an autonomic nervous system / complex partial seizure.
If I _do_ overdo it (life in general), I still end up in bed for two days; a week to recover. So, I still have a way to go - but for those of you who don't know me - I was bed bound in excruciating nerve pain from head to toe 24/7; pain that increased when my SKIN was exposed to light (would you believe it; unfortunately, some of you would )
I was having multiple autonomic seizures / partial complex seizures daily, with vomiting and diarrhea to accompany them.
If I'm very careful not to overexert myself, I'm now having one of the seizures which includes vomiting about once every 10 days. I still have smaller ones, but they're not as bad.
This is not medical advice. Talk to you doctor before trying any of this:
1. Currently I'm taking Ragweed Tincture. There are three kinds of ragweed; they are not the same. The one that works for Lyme is: Ambrosia Artemisiifolia. I have no idea what the other two kinds do, and I wouldn't take them. I also am not allergic to ragweed, so I don't know what the implications of that would be either. As I said, talk to your medical practitioner.
I'm also taking the homeopathic Ledum 10M, once a day. I take Ledum 1M as necessary, when I feel the Lyme symptoms flare.
Hyaluronic Acid (for inflammation)
Calcium Magnesium Selenium
That's it!
2. I did many different abx protocols, but the following is the one that got me a long way; I strongly suggest you speak with your doctor about it:
200mg doxy two times / day.
Then a whole lot of tinctures. Tinctures are more potent and the best form for herbs to be taken. It's important to find a reliable source; herbs can only be harvested at certain times of day, etc.
1/4 tsp. or a little more each:
Bloodroot (to support spleen): before 8AM
Stinging Nettle (blood cleanser): 2x day
Andographis (this is an antibiotic which will cross the blood-brain barrier and promote doxy to do the same): 1x day (to begin. The more you take, the more you're going to herx. Start with once / day bc you're sick)
Stephania Root (will help repair your nerves): 3 x day
Knotweed: 1x day before 4PM
Burdock Root (liver cleanser): 1 x day before bed
Also, Wormwood (the one that is Artemesia):
2x day
ONLY 5 days before full moon, full moon day, and two days after full moon.
Also take: B12 (I take it as Kelp: 575mg 3x day)
Magnesium Citrate 150 mg 2x day
Do not take it with the Calcium, as it will bind. Unless you take the MagTab SR, which is AWESOME and it doesn't seem to matter. If you take MagTab SR (which I do), take 2 tabs 2x day.
Calcium: 700mg (yes) 2x day (that's 1400mg day)
Selenium: 200mcg 3x day
Best,

I actually registered in 2004, but had to change my username - This has been going on since 2003, October. 2.5 years ago, when I was well enough, I was using a walker. F those bastards. Get your life back.

Not to get too excited, because I have a long way to go - but not as long as I once did.

Ledum is frequently used - I hadn't heard of it either - homeopathically for Lyme.
Let's all have the best holiday possible!
Best wishes,

So the Mag SR sounds great, is it a prescription or over the counter?
I think that would be great for me, since taking too much Mag lower my already low pressure so this might do the trick!!

I'm pretty sure you can get it through Wal-Mart, though it may be less / more? expensive directly through Niche.
