After 20 years of ME I am now cured.
My 4th year on antiretrovirals viread and raltegravir. I don't have lyme.
Mikovits guided my physicians and got me better.
I got sick after measles rubella and polio booster 20 years ago as a teenager.
Never had lyme. Was tested extensively.
Mine was pure ME/cfs.

So glad to hear of your recovery. I know Mikovits has done some exemplary work in retroviral research for the ME community.

Glad to hear of her consultation with your doctor.

Were you found to have XMRV? Still, there are various retroviruses that can cause big trouble and most doctors have no clue about what all can be done.

Thanks for the names of the Rx that were part of your plan. I've studied many herbs that have antiretroviral properties and wonder if you used any of those. Still, your success with the Rx rather says those worked.

Did you also have herbal / nutrient support on board?

For those who may want to learn a little about the main guiding expert, her work can be found starting with a Google search for:

Mikovits, retrovirus

Yes, and she says the Lipkin study was fraud.
There was indeed a retrovirus.
Lipkin promised her a chance to publish her isolation of XMRV-Mikovits if she just agreed to sign that it was not XMRV-SILVERMAN, but he lied. So everyone thinks she was wrong. In fact she was right

No I never got round to being properly tested . I was one of the UK patients waiting to have my blood drawn.
My doctors saw she had been framed.
We took a shot on the dark and I took the antiretrovirals. Had my whole life in front of me. We figured out the politics and called Lipkin's bluff.

I knew that the reports against her work years ago - that those who bombarded her work were really wrong. I was so sorry she had to go through all that but glad she did not give up.

I'm so glad to hear that my instinct was right on that. It was a turbulent time and I could sure smell a set up. Horrible to think that it actually was, though.

But then, for so many years, anything tangible about ME/CFS - and those real researchers working to solve all the puzzles with that - well, they have so often been wrongly discounted or severely misinterpreted . . . as have many regarding tick-borne bacteria & viruses.

She thinks Lyme bacteria propagates retrovirus.u have the rv.Then get bitten. lyme bacteria helps make the rv spread like mad.Hit it but it just won't calm down.So you probably gotta go nuclear n blast it to pieces.Enter blue and red army of viread and raltegravir.Low dose then build up quick to full dose? Just like in ME?No one with resistant nasty lyme tried ever?

Wow! Interesting! My case of nasty lyme went acute and mad very quickly. I wonder if this is why. Thankfully I'm doing much better but it also makes sense why mild hyperbaric would work as it tends to put the immune system back in charge. I'm doing this now to take care of remnants- really, this is so interesting because I kid you not- within a week I was saying the wrong words and about knocked off my feet. Thank you for sharing this! Great for you! Thanks for promoting this treatment! Wonderful that you never Gave Up! Hooray!

Along with 2 other patients, I sat down and talked with both Judy Mikovitz and Hilary Johnson for the better part of an evening. This was about a year before the xmrv dam burst.

Two extremely intelligent and driven people.
