Hi. I read more than I post but need some encouragement. My Lyme has relapsed and now affected my brain which includes tremors and twitches.

Now, a new enemy has reared its head: Insomnia. I started being treated for Babesia and been Rx for about 6 weeks.

I felt immediate relief in 1-2. Around week headaches returned with a vengeance and disrupts my sleep pattern. My LLMD is confident that I’ll get past this...but there are times like this where it’s hard.

I guess I just want to hear from people that understand and lend support.

Thanks for reading.

Aww, I've been there. I recommend taking a Magnesium Malate supplement. That will help your muscle twitching, headaches, and insomnia. Additionally, you can also take Melatonin and Valerian Root for insomnia. Nutramedix "Pinella" drops are great for neurological detox.

Most important is making sure you are doing the good things for your gut. Yes, the gut is very attached to the brain.

Liver support is key. Look for posts on liver support in search on this site.

I'm pretty far (hopefully) into recovery now and I had/have neuro lyme. I've recently completed the Buhner M. pneumonia protocol.

The biggest symptom that persists for me is brain inflammation and the corresponding heating up of my brain and body. This may relate to a previous ear infection that spread into my head or it may be lyme.

What is helping me is Terry Naturally Curamed Brain. It really takes the inflammation down.

People also seem to be helped a lot by their Superior Absorption Curcumin which is for inflammation so people with arthritis and inflammatory issues are using that with good results according to the comments on Amazon. A friend of mine will start taking it soon.

I take daily capsules of turmeric powder - I get it in bulk from the health food store and dip empty 00-size capsules in it - I take one in the am and pm. It takes down inflammational pain in joints and muscles for me. So, you never know till you try something - it might be able to help the brain too.

I also take benadryl to go to sleep.
