Long story short, My infectious disease doctor was saying that this Lyme test (Above) might be a false positive.... She just changed her mind! If you look at the top of the test results I posted, the newest one is Ehrlicha. She said that verified that I WAS indeed bit by a tick! I was so greatful they found that co infection. So now she gave me another bottle of Doxy. I have been on this stuff since Feb. I am herxing a lot, but I do not know where to go from here. I am getting married next month, and right after we get back from the honey moon, my fiance wants to get me into an LLMD or LLND. What do I do from here?
I having horrible anxiety/panic attacks. They come so easily. Never had that until i got sick. Also, what else can I do for the Ehrlicha. Anyone have this? My TMJ is acting up pretty bad. Thanks!

Well, definitely start looking for an LLMD now, since it can sometimes take several months to get an appt. That is going to be your best bet.
Keep taking the Doxy. I have Ehrlichia also, and I showed no improvement till my LLMD also put me on Rifampin.
But that's just me; your experience could be different.
Also, an LLMD will do other tests, not just TBD tests, and he/she will decide from there what course of treatmetn is best.
Good luck!

Get to a LLMD. You have the luck of knowing absolutely you have these illnesses. ID docs are pretty worthless for long-term appropriate combination Abx therapy. Take priority like your life is on the line because IT IS! Posts: 5153 | From The SOUTH Pole (Antarctica) | Registered: Mar 2008

What is the dose of Doxy? If the dose is not high enough it won't work on either the lyme or ehrlichia. Doxy is frequently the first med prescribed for either of these infections.
But as others have posted -- you may need to add Rifampin for the ehrlichia if the doxy doesn't work. There are many choices of other lyme meds to add or change to.
Be sure to take probiotics to prevent a candida (yeast) infection.
Please make an appointment with an LLMD. You are young and that will help with your fight.
Good luck.

I had to wait 3 months for an appt. with my LLMD, although they could have put me on a waiting list for cancellations.
I declined because I wasn't able to travel there on short notice.
Make an appt. now, and get on their waiting list too, so by the time you're done with the wedding stuff, you can get in.
When my original antibiotic ran out, a month before my LLMD appt., I took some herbs from the Stephen Buhner book "Healing Lyme" during that month. You can take those along with antibiotics too, and they don't require a prescription.
By the end of that month, I was feeling pretty good, well enough to drive across the country to my LLMD appt., and I felt good mentally to be doing SOMETHING, rather than just sitting there waiting until I could see the LLMD.
But get in to see a good Lyme literate practitioner as soon as you possibly can. That's what will help you the most to get your life back.

While you are waiting to get in to see your LLMD,
you can find things you want to do to boost the
immune system and get things in order in case you
get a lot worse before getting better. Like ready
made meals, Epsom bath supplies, with a back
scrubber(I can't reach my backside).
Electrolyte replacement drink mixes to replenish the system.
Help if you need it. I did and do still. Prayers for a easy road.
