My test results are .92 . Dr says I am negative. He thinks I'm crazy. Is there a Dr. in Houston I can go to. HELP. I am an avid hunter and have pulled over 50 ticks off me in the past 10 years. Had the bulls eye on my neck and belly. Dr. said they were spider bites.

Hi and welcome,

You should make a new post on this board asking for a "LLMD near Houston, TX".

Otherwise, the people who give out LLMD names may not read this post.

A bulls-eye rash is indicative of lyme, so find a LLMD asap, please. You will also need a good eval for common coinfections.

Make sure you learn as much as you can:

Hi, [hi] doihaveit and WELCOME to our lyme site. We’re glad you came to us for help.

I very much agree with the advice from Dekrator on making a new post with showing your request for Texas. This way others see right away what you need and you should get more responses.

I have sent you a private message (pm) also.

Also, check out our great "Medical Questions" forum where you can ask all the questions you might have and our wonderful, knowledgeable members will answer them. Just read some of the threads and you'll see just how informative they are!

The ELISA test is about 40% accurate.. I believe this is the test you had.

Do not stop until you've had a test thru Igenex lab... the Western Blot.

www.igenex.com Test #188 and 189

Do you have any pictures of the bullseye rashes?? That is proof in itself that you have Lyme disease. Your dr is woefully ignorant.

I will PM you.

Do not take this as medical advice. I am not a doctor, but I DID stay at a Holiday Inn Express!
