Hi! I have had Lyme since last August for sure but believe I have actually had it at least 3 years. I had my doctor do a Lyme test the last of May and it came back positive. The reason I know for sure since last Aug. is I had the EM rash (thought it was ringworm). But I have had symptoms for several years now. My doctor has been treating me with 3 weeks doxycycline but she has left her practice. I need a Lyme literate doctor because I am afraid to see just anyone. There are so many horror stories of people being refused treatment because the drs in Georgia don't want to recognize Lyme here. I don't feel the 3 weeks treatment is working all that well. But am remaining positive about it. Also I was wondering if anyone has had the IV treatments and if they had stomach issues with it. The doxycycline really upset my stomach, but I stuck with it not wanting to go back to the old Lyme sicknesses. Thanks in advance.

Welcome Cyndy! I sent you a private message (pm), click on the flashing envelope. [hi]

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
