Thx, all. I had a great time yesterday. And I'm thinking about it today - I had a different state of mind, and went out and did things, gently of course.
Took a ferry ride out on the bay, which is beautiful - windy and wild - everyone enjoying themselves and speaking all kinds of languages.
Went to Sausalito, which is a beautiful town just north of GG bridge. Again, a zillion languages being spoken. Lots of art galleries - well, it's for the tourists - wonder how the locals feel about being invaded on the weekends like this. Well, at least it's good for business.
People arrive to eat BY BOAT. There I am sitting on the outside deck of an eatery, and I get to watch boat parking in front of me. No valet boat parking. You rope it in yourself.
After perusing the town shops and settling on my favorite plein art painting to be delivered next week(see if you can figure out which statement here is not true),
(sorry, I know it's the middle of a sentence, but it's getting too long already) I then went up into the Sausalito hills, whereby I became a roving Sausalito tick patrol alert agent:
You there, sitting next to the effusive yellow rose bush - do you have your tick repellant on you today? No? I'm going to fine you one boat and one painting. And your dog? Is your dog protected? No? I'm sending your dog immediately to town for a dog pedicure that includes tick repellant!
Then, if you think all this wasn't enough for one day, I landed at a Funny GirlZ comedy show in the city. Oh my gosh. The rest of my brain cells were blown by a comedienne from London(family from Nigeria) named Gina Yashere. She has a website with her name. She is one gutsy lady. We ought to hire her to go pay a visit to the House Health subcommitee. They won't know what hit them!
Anyway, what I started out to say here is that I was in a different state of mind yesterday, so had a better time than most of my days. So I'm going to keep that in mind, and maybe go back to put something on consignment.
