My friend, Randy, asked me to announce a show that's going to air very soon about Plum Island and Lyme disease. He says he has trouble logging on here so here is the information:

It's a Jesse Ventura documentary on tru-tv. I guess this is just on cable, dish, etc. Here's a link about it:

"Plum Island" - NEW!
Premieres Fri, October 15 at 10P
Jesse storms Congress to find out if the government is conducting bio-warfare experiments at the mysterious Plum Island Animal Research Center off the coast of Long Island. The center began as a bio-warfare lab run by former Nazi scientists, and it has been blamed for spreading diseases and viruses throughout the mainland, including African swine flu and Lyme disease. TV-14

Link: http://www.trutv.com/shows/conspiracy_theory/episodes/index.html

I don't have the right plan for that station (204 on dish?) Sounds interesting, though I've never seen this program before.

If someone knows an alternative way to view this like via the internet or something, please enlighten me. Thanks!

I have no idea what channel trutv would come on around here, but I tell you...I'm going to find out. And then beg everyone I know to watch it.

Does trutv even have its' own broadcast channel? I'm calling the cable company monday.

It shows up as 204 for my dish but we only get 120 stations. I'd have to upgrade to get that one.

It's already on youtube in 3 parts. Very interesting... About ticks, moving the facility to Kansas possibly, and wait til you see the "creature" and hear about the human body that washed ashore.

They certainly could have said more about Lyme, but at least the word's out about the Nazi biowarfare scientist who worked with ticks, that headed it up. I'm assuming they went for the most sensational aspects: the bodies of the creatures and the dead man, and the thought of moving the facility to Kansas. If there's enough interest, maybe he'll expand on LD in another show. I few letters to him wouldn't hurt...

Here's the contact page for his show: http://www.trutv.com/contact/index.html?subject_id=180&start=true

The episode is apparently available free for members on Netflix too.

Scary!

More info on Dr. Erich Traub - how a Nazi scientist came to the U.S. post war time & Plum Island here http://www.think-aboutit.com/Misc/PlumIslandLymeDisease.htm

I haven't read Lab 257 yet... not sure I want to.

Jesse Ventura's show was pretty convincing. Anybody live in Kansas?

While more attention was brought to biowarfare, Lyme disease and genetic engineering by this show ...it was done in a rather sensationalistic manner. You may want to go to http://tinyurl.com/37x684t
to read more about the signature of controlled opposition, what their tactics are and how disinformants conduct themselves. I'm not saying that Ventura is definitely controlled opposition but this issue must be examined more in depth when any show comes on that is supposed to be whistleblowing.....especially when it is aired by mainstream TV owned by Time Warner http://tinyurl.com/37x684t

My son says the "Montauk Monster" looks like a decomposing dog. Maybe so. Carcasses, especially swollen, bloated ones don't always look much like a fleshed out animal.

I contacted TruTV about Lyme and got an acknowledgement back from them. Whenever we get any kind of opportunity, we should go for it.

I just watched this.
Hmmm.

Mr. Ventura manages to take a small amount of info, and make it seem as menacing as possible.

The footage wasn't lining up right with the dialog for me, but I was confused by them showing closeups of fleas when they were talking about ticks.

I looked for more information about the "Montauk Monster" from the summer of 2008, and the male body "with elongated fingers" that washed ashore in January 2010.

It was suggested in a couple places online that the Montauk Monster was a raccoon.
It does resemble pictures of hairless raccoons, and a wildlife expert would be able to confirm if that were true.
Mr. Ventura was speculating that the animal was an experiment from Plum Island.

News articles said that Suffolk County performed an autopsy on the body that washed ashore on Plum Island.
There should be information about that and whether they identified the body, rather than saying that it was a genetic experiment.
The show did say that there were five holes drilled in the skull, but did not say whether they were healed, indicating previous surgery, or if they were fresh.

Editing to add:
The reporter said that they found "five holes drilled in his head, which they think were from neurosurgery."
Ventura says, "Man, WHAT are they doing out there?"
(The report reads, "No obvious trauma.")
Ventura did say that the case is still unsolved.

All the speculation was so unprofessional.
This had nothing to do with the lab at Plum Island, but they managed to flesh out the program with it, as it happened in the vicinity.

There was little information about Lyme aside from Randy Syke's part.
Anyone with common sense would not take the program very seriously, and may even discount the information about infected ticks spreading from the lab.

I think it is embarrassing to the Lyme community to be associated with this type of production.

On what basis do you say "anyone with common sense would not take this program seriously"? Do you mean the program or the notion that infected ticks came from Plum Island.

If you mean the ticks coming from Plum Island, I would be interested in seeing your sources from which you formed such an opinion.

If you mean the program...then yes, I do agree with you. WHY? Because Jesse Ventura and his show are all part of a scheme being played on us called "controlled opposition". Do you know what that is?

The remainder of my comment is not directed to Carol, but just a general commentary.....

Controlled Opposition: In short, it's putting just enough info out there to make it seem like they are on your side. To make it LOOK LIKE they are trying to help you. To appease you. But not enough to ever settle the problem.

If this wasn't Biological Warfare then:

Please tell me why 3 Million people have Lyme Disease yet no one knows a damn thing about it?

Please tell me why doctors treat you like you have the plague when you tell them you have Lyme Disease?

Please tell me why Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and other diseases have cropped up since Lyme, yet no one has raised an eyebrow or pointed a finger at Lyme?

Do you want me to tell you why? BECAUSE it's a cover up!

Can you name one other disease that has been treated this way?

I urge anyone that think Lyme disease is NOT a result of Biological Warfare Testing off of Plum Islant....to defend your statement with facts.

Mine are listed here.... http://www.rense.com/general67/plumislandlyme.htm

That show is about as stupid as it gets .. everything is staged and hammed up. I've seen this episode and a few others .. the guy could make a McDonalds seems like a bio-weapons research center.

It's not biological warfare because Lyme has been around for hundreds of years. They may have made things WORSE there, but it's NOT a new disease.

I've had it since the 50's.

I was wondering how long it had been around, tutu. Very interesting stuff. Both sides but the whole thing about the mutated animals and people turned me off. I do believe the government does all kinds of things that would probably make us outraged, though creating weird animals and people, I doubt! Just my opinion.

A group of 30 odd people with no science behind them doesn't just hijack global medical policy for 35+ years...
unless there are far more powerful interests behind them. Biowarfare usually doesn't involve making brand new species; far easier to take something already there and tailor it to suit your purposes.

http://www.wellsphere.com/lyme-disease-article/lyme-discoverer-willy-burgdorfer-breaks-silence-on-heated-controversy/704251

When Burgdorfer was interviewed by UOS producer Kris Kraft, an NIH goon came with a gag order, which Burdgorfer admitted at the end of the interview to complying with, that he said was "all the way from the top." (how the agent knew that Burgdorfer, long-retired, would be there is something I sure as ****'d like to know.) According to what I've always been told, the president and his cabinet are the ones at "the top."

According to Mr. Sykes, apparently whether or not Ventura does an episode specifically on Lyme may depend on the show's ratings. So get people to tune in...

I sort of took the comment from Carol in Pa as a hit to me, since it seems I was the one who contacted TruTV.

I didn't go for the mutated "things", but as for lyme starting from bio wf on Plum Island, I think it's a good possibility. I believe I also contacted Lyme in the late 50's, but if I remember correctly from the show, it would have taken place b/f that.

If you google "Japan's Secret Weapon," you'll see that spirochetes, including Borrelia, were being weaponized as far back as the 30's.

The idea that the Lyme spirochete, in its present form, has been around for thousands of years is something that we have been told. We have not seen physical personal proof of this. Much of the knowledge of the masses has come from
manipulated science and history.

But...even if the Lyme spirochete is an old microbe...that doesn't mean that the spirochete and or the tick that carries it...has not been genetically modified. See the article below for more info

i agree that the show is way over the top and he does "ham" it up. but i do find it very strange that lyme,Ct. is such a short distance from the island, its WAY to much of a coincidence for me .
