on a pilonidal cyst. I was born with this - my spine didn't finish closing when I was being formed, leaving behind a lot of junk near my tailbone. This is my second operation on it.
It will be a painful recovery, but I'll be glad to get it over with! My poor memory doesn't remember if I already posted that I'm having surgery on Wednesday, and I'm too lazy to look it up. So, if this is news you've already heard, oops!
I will keep up with Lymenet via my Ipod, because I'll likely be in bed for awhile! Take care, everyone!

Best wishes with your surgery. I don't even know where you are at with your Lyme treatment, so hesitate to even mention this. Well, before i do mention it, where are you with Lyme Treatment?

Awe, thanks everyone! What would I do without my Lymenet friends? Beagle, I'm a long-term Lymie who needs open-ended treatment for babs, bart, and neuro Lyme. I am one of the sickest patients my LLMD has seen, according to him. I don't like having this dubious distinction and I try and pray every day to get better. I HAVE seen better days, but I've been close to death several times. It has certainly affected me in every way.
The pilonidal cyst recurred as a complication of being bedridden last Nov. and Dec. while recovering from meningoencephalitis. So, for me, it's been one disaster and complication after another! Seems like I'm always trying to jump the next hurdle. Thank God I've discovered the wonderful support here on Lymenet. I love you all!

Thanks, just don! I have to go eat and drink plenty right now because after midnight I can't have anything. I'm nervous about it because I tend to get very thirsty at night - it's one of my many Lyme symptoms.
