Hi Gang
Strange how i always took antibiotics without a second thought.

I have been so brain washed to think they are bad I am scared to take them.

But I will anyway.

Cipro and tinidazole.

Antibiotics aren't bad when you need them.

But, they do take a toll on your GI tract, among other things. Antibiotics can cause yeast infections, Leaky Gut, SIBO, etc etc

Miss Victoria is so right! With these antibiotics you need to take
acidophilus. Primadophilus is a good one available at your health food store.

You need capsules with live culture which need to be refrigeratored. Or you can eat lots of yogurt- Greek yogurt is good and has lots of protein, too.

Hi everyone
Thanks for the advice.

I already stopped the cipro due to Gi. issues, ouch.

The tinidazole took days to get.

I have a cystoscope
tomorrow so will ask that doctor about the ABX .

Whew .. MADDOG .. that stuff is so dangerous. I'm sorry it didn't work out though.

I don't think it should even be on the market, but then I've seen lots of damage myself and in friends.

I hope they can find something that works.

Even after stopping Cipro or similar FQ - and for weeks, perhaps months, afterward,

there is still the risk of tendon rupture.

Be sure to read up on that to know what kind of actions or non-action (seriously - to avoid stretching, etc) might help offset the risk even if just by a bit.
