I'm wondering if everyone can share the top 10 new treatments that have worked for them over the last 12 months or so. Here's my thinking.... if a dozen or so people post their top 10, that would be a total of 120 treatments listed out... will help us all to get NEW TREATMENT IDEAS! Here are mine:
1) Dr. K parasite drug protocol 2) Rife / MRS 2000 / Bionic 3) Nutramedix products 4) Mercury chelation 5) Tinidazole 6) Exercise! 7) Addressing adrenal fatigue as explained in Strasheim's book "Beyond Lyme" 8) Dr. K's pyrolouria treatment 9) B vitamins 10) Paleo diet!
(If you only have 5 instead of 10, please share!)
Thanks!

1. Parasite (ivermectin #1, biltricide, alinia) 2. Dhea, progesterone cream (helped sleep, painful, irregular menstrual cycles) 3. Digestive enzymes 4. Nystatin/itraconazole(for yeast) 5. Funding a hobby I love to get my focus off lyme
These are current but I did two years of Orval's plus two years of Iv abx. The best one Iv was vancomycin. That 4 Years was invaluable to my wellness.

LSG Scott - can you expound on that. Tumeric - 3 parts and salt 1 part? Is that correct?
How much do you use?
I should add to my list diegestive enzymes and serrapeptase.

Finding a really good lyme specialist Balancing yeast with probiotics, s.boulardii, herbs, diflucan, compounded nystatin and rotating yeast products (I needed way more probiotics than I was originally put on). Parasite treatment (iver, alinia, bilt, salt/C) Energy testing Amalgam removal Coffee enemas Exercise every other day or 3rd day (light weights)--this is by far the best detox I've used Reducing fat (lower fat than I was eating) Adrenal support(dhea, adrenal herbs) Byron White herbs Rotating herbs (on same herb no longer than 3 or 4 weeks) Enzymes

So only two entries where anyone even mentioned antibiotics.
I haven't found much that has worked but I got back to 50% better on hardcore IV antibiotics and am trying parasite treatment now. But as far as feeling better my list is:

In no meaningful order, and not in the past 12 months as I've been well for a few years and haven't treated in the last 12 months:
1. Bionic 880 photon treatment 2. Eliminating mold 3. Treating parasites 4. Fermented foods for the gut 5. HCl for the gut (Thorne Biogest) 6. Diet - plant based with meat/eggs/dairy, but mostly plants, and this was impossible at one point due to gut damage 7. Exercise - pilates specifically did more for me than weightlifting because it reaches the deep muscles 8. Vitamin D levels 9. Paying attention to adrenal fatigue (there are great websites with info on combating adrenal fatigue) 10. Rest/sleep

Previously, I'd have to say oral clindamycin abx kept joint and soft tissue pain at bay for 5 years.
Also, drinking noni juice and taking grapeseed extract capsules stopped lipomas.

This is a great thread! I'm not all the way there yet, but:
- yoga - detox - Nutramedix products plus dry brushing (never felt Epsom salt baths did anything) - sauna - addressing adrenal fatigue through supplements and lifestyle - energy supplements - NT Energy, COQ10 - addressing MTHFR mutation - thyroid meds - these were HUGE - abx - there is no way I would have gotten to this point without abx - I was just too sick.

Has anyone else recovered from adrenal fatigue to the point that they can do cardio exercise again? I used to be able to do a lot of cardio, but after some stressful events, my cardio tolerance has dropped to almost zero.

Yes! I prefer sprints to long ended cardio, but I can do whatever workout I want.

I'm taking the Detox and Lyme formulas from Byron White. Apparently there are layers of illness that need to be "unraveled" so I have also taken the parasite formula and lots of antioxidants, water, green smoothies etc. Trying to unravel the mystery that many doctors don't even understand. Byron WHite is giving another public teleconference this month on Radiation. Which also effects those of us fighting other illnesses. It will be on April 24 at 5:30. You have to sign up on their website so they can send you the number to call. They don't sell to the public so the teleconference isn't a sales pitch. If it's like the one they did last month it will be full of quality information. INFO is key!

This is something I have only begun to explore, but I would like to share that I have spent hours researching other health boards with lyme afflicted people posting , and to my surprise , the only thing I read that encourages me significantly is COLLOIDAL SILVER .
Some people are afraid of argyria, for good reason, but Dr Mercola has an article on safe usage of colloidal silver that you can easily google . There are over a hundred comments from silver users there who have used it safely , and many made their own . None have had argyria .
I also found an article in Australia about a man desperately ill with lyme who tried to get well and nothing worked til he used silver . He now makes his own and is well and was photographed by the newspaper for the interview. His story sounded extremely credible.
The thing that is causing me angst is that many sites like web MD or Mayo ridicule it ! And it is a fact that a scientist from Willy Burgdorfer lab found it killed lyme, which was published in DR Farber's book.
I am not a scientist , but am inclined to believe this - despite being a huge skeptic in general. Why ? When I take silver with my lyme herbs I have HUGE (!) herxes that knock me flat !! If I take it with ivermectin I have same result . Not a scientist , but I question the idea that biofilm is being destroyed . Even without herbs, I have a strong herx similar to an antibiotic drug , but no yeast nightmare .
Others here might want to google "colloidal silver lyme improvement or cure ". I used a variety of search words and found MANY links, and am quite surprised how many people have posted that it improved or cured them .
It is not my intent to present myself as a scientist or to mislead anyone . I am just a desperate seeker who is generally skeptical of most things without evidence . Do your own search , and you will probably find many people who say they DEFINITELY felt better after using it . Not one report of argyria either .

A note on colloidal silver, when my son was really sick he couldn't tolerate it as it was too strong. Now he can take it as he is almost well. In our experience it hits lyme hard.

1. Ceftin + Biaxin 2. Daily "real" sauerkraut or other fermented food - goal of 1/2 cup per day 3. Volunteer work that gives me purpose outside of myself
#2 was so critical because it addresses my significant constipation issues. I feel much better and more energetic when I'm not "full of it". Hello, toxins! Go figure.
#3 is important for me psychologically, but I don't know that it would have been possible without all the other treatment I've been doing.

canadianmama , The colloidal silver I have been using is so powerful at 1 tsp . I think I will need to go to 3 tsp daily , and I can barely stand upright with one. I have been treating a LONG time, so I think it HITS LYME . I am not sure about coinfections, but think it may bec of reading on other health boards .
The silver seems like taking a drink of water , is tasteless . The first day herx was noticeable, and each day has been more intense. I too find it a powerful killer and the only thing I am consistently reading about at other health boards that seems to work for a variety of people. There are quite a few I found who have their own lyme blogs now and feel silver was a critical helper in improvement .
I hope I will start feeling better also . I defintely feel worse now!

As long as I stick to the diet I am drug free and pretty much in remission - but PR is incurable so things are tenuous.
Other things in the mix to break down biofilm are: Lumbrokinase/boluoke/jiaogulan/danshen/ wobenzyme LipoPhos EDTA

I am using Sovereign Silver. Cockapoo is using Apex and feeling better with that brand from her practitioner LLMD.
There are studies from Britain that even show silver effective at killing cancer cells - found this at Motley Fool Caps online . That was a shocker for me !
There is an interesting blog called "knowlyme" with posts on silver usage and results.

I see so many people saying Parasite treatment, my original LLMD wanted me to do 3 weeks Albendazole before treating my Lyme but she was too long distance and i didnt start treatment.
New LLMD is aware prev dr wanted this, however he skips this straight to Lyme specific antibiotics.
Should I ask Dr to consider 3 weeks albendazole before treating my Lyme?

Here are the top ones I've started within the last 12 months, given in alphabetical order:
1. Amino acids, all-out focus on each one 2. Borax 3. Canada Dry diet tonic water 4. Coffee enemas 5. Diosmin and hesperidin 6. John Douglas workshop treatment 7. Treatment for cavities and cavitations
Here is my all-time hall of fame, broken into three tiers. Tier one the best group; tier three the least great group, but still all listed here have been great, they have been better for me than other very good treatments that haven't made these lists.
Tier 1
1. Antiparasitic full moon treatments using biltricide, ivermectin, pyrantel pamoate, albendazole, alinia, and supporting herbals
2. Borax (accidental overdose caused scary herx but appears to have wiped out protomyxzoa rheumatica, a.k.a. FL1953)
3. Coffee enemas (toxin circulation and toxin elimination portions of detoxification)
6. Hormone supplementation (vitamin D3, hydrocortisone, thyroid hormones T3 and T4, testosterone, DHEA, pregnenolone) and herbs to balance estrogen (gave me the energy to make it through varoius treatments listed here; true healing appears to have occurred as I am using much less of these now)
7. John Douglas workshop treatment (he killed my entire borrelia infection)
8. Low-carbohydrate diet (got control of candida/fungal infection)
9. Meditation CDs, brands Holosync and Lifeflow (trigger toxin circulation portion of detoxification and perhaps balance brain hemispheres)
10. Regulat, serrapeptase, and cistus incanus tea (break biofilm)
11. Treatment for cavities and cavitations
Tier 2
1. Allergie-Immun (trigger toxin circulation portion of detoxification)
2. Antibiotics intravenous ertapenem (brand name Invanz) with oral tindamax and alinia rotated
3. Low-fat diet (was needed until protomyxzoa rheumatica and circulatory system treatments)
4. Neuro-cranial restructuring (improved sinus circulation and improved cranial and body-wide bone alignment/posture)
5. Periodontal grafting surgery
6. Reduction of exposure to wireless signals and fluorescent lights and devices to help improve response to exposure (Philip Stein watch and EarthCalm and GiaWellness home systems and pendants)
Tier 3
1. Angioplasty for CCSVI
2. Canada Dry diet tonic water (contains quinine to treat babesia)
3. Chlorella (toxin elimination portion of detoxification)
4. Detoxamin (toxin circulation and toxin elimination portions of detoxification)
5. Nutrient supplementation including essentially all amino acids, vitamins, and minerals along with some antioxidants
7. Oxygen concentrator (before lyme diagnosis; improved oxygenation of blood and increased energy; likely helped immune system lower level of infection)
8. St. John Clark Pain Treatment Center treatments (improve bone alignment/posture)
9. Urine as nasal spray (balance/train immune system)
10. Willard Water (enhance assimilation of water and food in damaged digestive tract and help heal digestive tract)
