Hi everyone. I had a very unusual bullseye rash that caused no symptoms until three weeks later when I started having joint/muscle pain. I want to know if I have Lyme and I need an LLMD to make sure I get an accurate diagnosis and/or treatment. I have checked some in the area but the reviews are discouraging. I’m willing to travel 25-30 miles. Thank you!

Welcome to Lyment Natalia

I saw your other post with rash photos. Compare to these;

I'm so glad you want to see a LLMD. But in the meantime, can you ask your primary doctor if he/she could start you on a months worth of Doxycycline?

You can request a LLMD through ILADS here;

You can request a LLMD through Global Lyme Alliance here;

Start researching all you can about Tick Borne Infections. You must become your own healthcare advocate. Get your finances in order as most LLMD'S don't participate in insurances. Here's why;

Also watch "Under Our Skin", a documentary about the struggles Lyme patients face while trying to get diagnosised and treated;

Be sure to utilize lymenet's 'search' function for valuable information or post your questions in open forum and volunteer Lyme warriors will respond with their experiences. We are open 24 hours a day, we never close. Wishing you well.

I will send you a private message.
