RECALL- LISTERIA- Fruits and veggies- many varieties, many distributors, current and going back 2 years. (Too many to list here. See full list at link below.)
Quote- "We are performing this voluntary recall in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) because these products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The organism can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
This expanded recall of frozen vegetables includes all of the frozen organic and traditional fruit and vegetable products manufactured or processed in CRF Frozen Foods' Pasco facility since May 1, 2014."

I agree!
I just bought some organic lemons yesterday and it made me think when it says "organic" you get a feeling it is better for you and more healthy, but really any products can be a problem, organic or not.
I had listeria once. Never want it again. When I sent out the last recall notice for listeria I got many thanks and also responses saying people had those food in their fridges and/or freezers when they checked. Three or four had already had experienced listeria too.
The comments came from both patients and doctors. In our state of health, food poisoning can be deadly.
I still can't even think of eating hummus after years of going without it on purpose. That's how I got mine.
Now a bunch of fruits and veggies are contaminated too? Scary!

Especially if you have Lyme already and your white blood cells are so occupied.
I've seen some nasty, nasty outcomes from Listeria. Makes you rethink the cut up cantaloupe.

Love it. Never heard it put that way before. But, you have a way with words. Nice.
