Dr. Jones just learned today that the first hearing for the new set of charges being brought against him by the CT DPH has been scheduled for this Friday, May 2. Initially, it wasn't clear if this hearing would be rescheduled, as has happened at least once before, or if his presence would be required on Friday. For that reason, he was hesitant to issue an announcement at an earlier point in time.
Dr. Jones understands that this is very late notice for the community, but wants people to know that he would welcome their attendance, for anyone who may be able to be there.
Date: Friday, May 2 Time: 9:00 a.m. Place: Legislative Office Building 470 Capitol Avenue Conference Room C Hartford, CT

sad they are putting Dr. jones through this. It never ends.
Please remember to donate what you can. If everyone sent in a few dollars it would add up.
To loose Dr. jones is not only a loss to the children with Lyme but to the entire Lyme community. Please help!!!

haven't heard any news about this specific hearing.
i do know that dr. j was told directly that he can expect this set of hearings to drag out for a year, and that he will be obligated to be in Hartford for the hearings at least once a month foro the whole year.
there is no uncertainty about what is going on here. the hearings are not an opportunity for dr. j to present truth and facts that the board will have to listen to.
and the members of that board, to a person, understand that the larger game going on here is:
1- to make dr. j suffer because he refuses to give in to them,
2- to make him spend time on this crap rather than on healing children, which is another way of punishing dr. j (and yes, our children too- but to be polite, shall we say that fact simply doesn't seem to be a huge concern to the board?
3- and last but not least, the board is trying to bankrupt him and drive him out of practice. pure and simple.
they can't do that in above the board way- OR THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY TAKEN HIS LICENSE.
instead, their tactic is to harass him endlessly and to force him to keep on paying huge amounts of money on legal counsel.
ugly, ugly, ugly.

dilly, thanks for the update; once a month hearings again!! like last 2 years of this BS and $1 million OUT OF POCKET from him/us donating to his legal defense.
it's so maddening! would be great if blumenthal's 5-1-08 outcome could be USED for dr. jones and in PREVIOUS OUTCOME!
dr. jones, we love you!! we hate seeing this happen to you over and over! thanks for being so strong and FIGHTING THE SYSTEM!
