Does anyone know if any of the herbs will take care of the cyst form?

I can't find my copy of the book and was just curious about this.

The way I understood Buhner's protocol is to kill as much bacteria as possible and then drive it into cyst form. His thinking is if it remains in the cyst form indefinitely then it will eventually die or the immune system will take care of it as it converts to the active form.

He does NOT use cystbusters the way I understand it.

Thanks Bea great explanation & link! [group hug]

I guess that explains my LL?IDMD's logic.

I was reading up a bit on Buhner's Herbs & it seems some of them have immunomodulatory effects similar to corticosteroids.

I'm wondering if those would actually be wise, in trying to kill Bb off. Wouldn't that just alleviate symptoms, while they are attacking you? Isn't some of the inflammation necessary to clean out the debris?

I sure wish I understood this whole process better. I get so confused sometimes. [Frown]

I don't think I like my LL?IDMD very much. [shake] I ALL of the little Bbs dead!!!!! I hate that they are presently part of me and I WANT THEM OUT!!!!!

It would seem that Buhner's idea is to peacefully coexist with them in OUR bodies. There has to be a better way.

What do we do with these herbs? Just keep fighting with the little buggers for the rest of our lives?

[confused]
