i started with only 3 pellets 3x a day for first 5 days...
then moved onto 4 pellets 3x a day, i am on day four of that.
i think i am herxing some, but don't know if it's the abx/herbs/noni/mangosteen or the lauricidin
should i ramp up the lauricidin dose?
a year ago today i was bitten and infected. i am willing to go through more herxes with higher lauricidin doses to not see another year anniversary with bugs.
thanks john

I remember the container came with a spoon about the size of at least a teaspoon. I took that much several times a day.
Just looked in the drawer where I had a container left - it gives insttructions to take 1/4 to 1 teasp 3x a day and contains a blue plastic spoon.
You may want to read your instructions, or go to the website.
Don't chew it - just swallow the pellets.
Take care.

One doctor I know who treats lyme patients said that many of his lyme patients cannot tolerate more than a few pellets a day to start with.
I'd start slow and work my way up. Sounds like you aren't having a big reaction so far but be careful and back down if needed.

I did just that...started slow...now I have the ability to do live blood micro on my own blood...instantly.
So...after ramp up..I worked up quite a high dose..and discovered that the higher doses seemed to really start to kick there *** bad.
HOWEVER...after seeing quite improvment..I moved on..as I am testing various Treatments since I can check my results in realtime for free.
I got up to about 10 capfuls a day..yes 10...and it really seemed to be killing bigtime...perhaps solely.

lauricidin if you smell it...is virtually a "safe" detergent.
and it smells like detergent.
dont let that scare you..my point is detergent likely would dissolve the biofilms.

I'm taking a 1/4 teaspoon twice a day. It feel very comfortable for me for this daily dose. The amount is 3 grams of monolaurin or lauricidin its the same stuff. I also have included oregano oil two enteric caps a day.
Why oregano oil? There has been a lot of studies to do with MRSA. It appears this combination is better then several abx treatment for common old staph. Venerable abx such vancomycin, amoxacillin don't nearly have the punch this combo has.
There are peer reviewed studies on this, I've added some links.
By the way, no ones studied the efficacy of this combination with lyme. And why would they, according to the IDSA lyme doesn't exist. Or test it against any of the coinfections. So let your mind breath in the possibly of a natural ABX that may not damage your intestinal microbiota. Plus, Its a lot cheaper!

I started out with one pellet once daily, and did work up to 3 pellets twice daily, but the herxing got bad.
I spoke at length with Brian Kabara, the grandson of the founder of lauricidin. Some people herx badly on 5-7 pellets twice daily with Lyme, and he said to go slowly. He said Lyme patients are the most sensitive.
Check out the lauricidin website and find out what it kills. It supposedly is very effective against viruses. My LLMD takes a few scoops a day, but of course he doesn't have Lyme. He did a small study using about 40 patients. 75% found it helped them.

This doctor I saw a few days ago who treats lyme patients (not an LLMD in my view), said that lauricidin and monolaurin are no where close to the same in effectiveness. He said lauricidin is much more effective.
I took monolaurin 8-9 caps per day for over a year without herxing. 1 pellet of the lauricidin caused a herx reaction so I think he may be right.
Lauricidin also treats h. pylori which I think is not uncommon in lyme patients.

The only difference between monolaurin and lauricidin is lauricidin is trade marked by a specific company.
A quote from the company that makes lauricidin
quote:Exactly what is Lauricidin? Lauricidin is the trade name for the original monolaurin discovered by Dr. Jon J. Kabara. Highly purified monolaurin is now commercially available as Lauricidin due to high tech molecular distillation. This pure pelletized monoglyceride is different from monolaurin capsules in that it contains no fillers, or excipients.
I'm not selling anything : just check the prices per gram between the following sites:
lauricidin = 1 jar 29.95 8 oz pelletized monolaurin = 1 jar 23.25 8 oz pelletized
