Lyme Disease & Breast Cancer
For a couple of decades I've been watching and researching (and trying to help) the growing numbers of people with Lyme who develop breast cancer.
Eva Sapi in CT, a breast cancer researcher and well known and much loved Lyme disease researcher, has new information on this topic that I feel helps confirm the connection and perhaps provides some answers.
A big shout out to Eva and her students! Thank you!

they just found a nodule in my breast yesterday.
I am suspecting the choronic inflammation (if it is cancer) that lyme and TBD provide us with so generously.
They told me it's "extremely likely" to be pos for cancer. my biopsy is in 16 days! how can I make it that far without sleeping, haha. ugh.
I will read this link above, thanks tincup.
Just posting here to see if there is any new info out there??
I'd search myself , but I know some people that are still active here probably know a lot more than I could find with my concussed brain.
thank you!

Lisa, I will be praying for you.
I have had several lumps and biopsies. The last one they thought was cancerous turned out not to be.
Waiting is hard, though.
Keep us posted.

I have been reading about this connection since they found my 4C mass, and there is a lot on pubmed about the connection of certain caners to MCAS/MCAD, and they do also mention lyme.
thyroid and breast are two of the top areas affected.
