I've treated two full years for lyme, one year on IV Rocephin, the other year all orals/bicllin shots. I've been symptom free for two full years. My main symptoms were myoclonus, feeling sick every day like I was being poisoned, tremors, fatigue.
As I posted the other day, I never had lyme pain that I can recall.
Today I was shopping and talking with the store clerk when I got the most severe nerve pain I truly have ever had. It was in my right upper abdomen. The clerk could see how in pain I was and offered to call a Dr.
I have nerve pain all over my body for six weeks now, it's like I'm being stabbed but this was a sudden shock like pain. Is it possible this is all lyme??
I have a consult tomorrow with my LLMD. I hate to blame everything on lyme.
My primary Dr. wants to do an MRI of the Brain, thoracic/lumbar spine. I have had three cervical surgeries but have been assured by my spine Dr. this is not cervical neck issues.
This pain is like no other. I've had five kids and never remember nerve pain like this.
Something is up in the last six weeks since all this body wide nerve pain began. I guess a reactivation of lyme would explain it, your thoughts??

I can't say if this is a reactivation of Lyme for you. Maybe someone with more experience in treatment and recurance can help. I can tell you I've had pain like that for over 20 years. I have different catagories of pain, dull all over, intense in areas (general moves around), and sharp shocks like a cattle prod or someone is stabbing me with a knife. I've had numerous MRIs, nerve conduction tests, etc. No cause found.

Well my gallbladder was removed two years ago or I'd say it could be.
I decided to go back on orals for a few months and hit this hard. I started on three antibiotics today. I'm going to treat as if the lyme is back until something else pops up.
