boy, right now i'm feeling like somebody put me in a can of oil and lit a match. my entire body is burning but it feels like it's from the inside.

also get very sharp stabbing pains. my left shoulder is the worst.

tongue is still a mess tho, white cottage cheese.

no fever. just lots of feeling bad.

what was your worst yeast herx symptom?

I do not get a yeast herx just overgrowth of yeast on the skin resulting in Tinea versicolor,
skin itch on feet, neck, around ears. Use desenex for feet and hard to reach areas, and lotrimin for most everything else. If tongue is sore I do what Dr B says: brush teeth and tongue and sip yogurt (probiotic) 2-3 / day and away it goes. For scalp I either use Selsun or lotrimin, and use either of these for versicolor on back. If I had sharp stabbing pains I would think of Bartonella or neuropathy of Lyme or from flagyl etc depending on the context and meds involved etc.

Is it muscle burning? Our daughter gets that when she doesn't have enough vitamin B12.

Oral vitamins don't do anything for her, so now we get little shots from the pharmacy and inject her daily at home. Ain't life fun?

Randi,

I think you should call the doctor who is treating you for shingles. This could be a nerve complication of that. The burning and the sharp stabbing pains sure sound like shingles nerve pain - it can go beyond the rash site.

I hope you get an answer and that this gets better soon.
