If you have taken Lyrica for sleep, how long before you noticed that it helped? How much did you take?
I started taking it 10nights ago but have not noticed any improvement with my sleep. Taking 100mg Lyrica with Lunesta immediately before bed.
And yes I've tried all the natural treatments that I could find, this is a big problem for me right now. Going to bed between 10 & 11pm, when I am still awake at 1 or 2am I am allowed to take my other sleep med Sonata. Only then I will finally fall asleep.
Alarm clock wakes me up at 8am to take my morning meds and IV's. That's why I try to go to bed earlier. And this has been my bedtime for the past several years so it's weird that I have so much trouble falling asleep. Plus by 10-11pm my body is so exhausted, hurting and brain dead that all I want to do is lay down and rest.
My doctor said to call if it did not help. I'm not sure how long to give it a good try.
Any advice? Experiences?

It helped me immediately. I believe I took the same dosage you did.
Sonata was HORRIBLE for me. Everyone is different!!

I took it but in the middle of a rifampin herx, so its not fair to judge. I was so wired from herx, nothing would have helped me sleep. good luck.

Thank you. I was going to call the doctor today (as he told me to do if it didn't work) but ended up having to call because my PICC line broke and needs replaced. So sleep will have to wait until I can get this new problem taken care of.
