I drank whey protein powder to be sure my body had the raw materials for making glutathione and I did the coffee enemas. Since I was always on Mepron, I did not take milk thistle. I did take ALA and NAC at times, but not consistently, only when my LLMD had me chelating.

- No. Coffee enema certainly has its benefits, however, is not at all full protection. You need Milk Thistle or a similar supplement, too. There are many options.
In addition ot your LLMD, It's best to consult with a LL ND (naturopathic doctor) or a LL L.Ac. (acupuncturist) as they are trained in the use of thousands of different herbs and would be able to determine what YOUR body needs.

LIVER SUPPORT LINKS are 3/4 of the way down page one:
Includes how to find an ILADS-educated LL ND, an Acupuncturist, a doctor of Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.), or a doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine (D.Ay.), certified herbalists or nutritionists, etc.
Includes many articles and books on complementary / integrative methods - & RIFE links.

Edited to add:
Jennie,
I'm a bit confused with your treatment. In your above post you say you've not started treatment for coinfections.
However, I just happened to see another post from you today where you mention:
"I restarted Mepron and Biaxin (1 week off) yesterday " (end quote)
Well, I had based my answer of saying you needed Milk Thistle on the information in your top post above. I saw you were not treating coinfections (therefore, you would not be on mepron, I thought). That's important because, when on mepron, MOST LLMDs take their patient off of Milk Thistle - or - ask them to time it at opposite hours - or take other liver protection.
So, now that it's clear you ARE on mepron (which treats babesia), be sure to get expert advice on liver protection. -

- If you use whey, be sure it is undenatured whey and from a animals not exposed to farm chemicals and allowed to be free GRAZING.
And, here's why it is important NOT to put undenatured whey in a blender - and also not to combine it with most foods: ---------------
ImmunePro RX contains Lactoferrin, Immunoglobulins (IgGs), Bovine Serum Albumin, Active Peptides and Growth Factors to promote optimal immune function and detoxification. . . .
* What is the best way to store ImmunePro RX?
60 degrees Fahrenheit (or cooler) in a dry location; refrigeration is acceptable.
* What is the best solution to mix it in?
Purified water is the best liquid to thoroughly mix ImmuneProRx. Use a sealable container to shake it, or a MANUAL eggbeater.
* Do not use an electric blender. The whey proteins are easily denatured through heat and pH change.
Mixing the whey protein with any other types of food can induce a pH change and slow the transit time in the stomach through its digestive response to the solid food.
Liquids that are not neutral in their pH can also denature the proteins, for example: most fruit juices, coffee, and tea. By following the above guide, the uptake of the undenatured protein fractions in the upper small intestine is optimized.
A small amount of Stevia is an acceptable sweetener, if desired, for palatability. . . . -
