Everyone is different in how different abx effect us.
I love Zith... I feel the best when I take it. It doesn't give me any bad side effect (bowels or stomach).
Never had heart problems with it. To me it's my lifesaver.

IMHO it's a fairly mild abx compared to other ones. I got some pains in my stomach when I first started it but that subsided after a while.

I have heart problems and it does not bother me at all. The main trouble I had was diarrhea. So be sure to take your probiotics.

Our daughter has been on it for 5 months and by and large no severe adverse effects.
Two key points.
1) Liver - we have her taking a lot of Lemon water (squeeze the fresh lemon into the water) to flush out the liver. We missed the lemon one day and immediately noticed the adverse impact.
2) Like any of the drugs you need to have the pro biotics to replace the good bacteria.

No problems at all with this antibiotic. In fact, my blood pressure is lower now than when I started treatment.
