Morning, had a really bad herx on Weds, Thurs. Seem to be coming out of it now. I had really bad tingling, muscle pain, joint pain. Better except for my left side is tingly including foot and shoulder.
Is this still a herx? I'm on lariam, cipro, doxy.
Any insight would be great.
Janice

I had a similar herx lasting over 3 weeks back in March, I was taking flagyl, and zithro at the time, I probably in restrospect was too aggressive in taking an awful lot of flagyl for several days before adding the zithro. My mind cleared nicely but my knees were in agony, both of them for many days but only incapacitating for 3 days or so. So at least you know your are clearing some serious bacteria, releasing some toxins and stimulating some interleukins to make you feel sick. I like lemon water and magnesium best for that. Also epsom salt baths after exercise (1 hour, 3x/week)

Another good thing for herx/detox is juicing 1/2 lemon in glass of pure water. Helps to detox and alkalize. Do this at least a couple times per day.
When you are "cleaner" Far Infra Red Saunas are great.
