Just wondering who here has beaten Bart? How did you do it?
I keep reading it is the most difficult thing to clear up. But also know many people have done it.
Just feeling like I'm never going to kick this and need some encouragement.
Glad lymenet is back up.

I am interested too. I don't test positive for Bart but I have several symptoms. I am currently on doxy and zith and have been for a long time.
I'm wondering what I can do naturally to support the meds.

It plagues me too. I hope to get better answers when I see the LLMD in November. I have gotten a lot better on Bactrim DS and zithro, but not well, and I relapse if I try to cut back a little on what I am taking.

I did it by taking 30 days of Levaquin and then taking Bactrim DS for nearly 1 year.
That got rid of both bart and babesiosis.
It's been over 5 years now, and I am still symptom free, enjoying my life.

Canefan, when you say kickin bart, what do you mean. Are you feeling much better with less symptoms or are you "herxing"? It is so easy to confuse herxing with relapse. I did it. Hope you are feeling well though, not having worsening of symptoms. Just be careful.

I'm feeling so much better.
I haven't really had any Bart herxes. Just continued improvement.
But it was def Bart I was dealing with. I had rashes, streaks, brain fog, anger, bloating, vision issues, etc
Now I only get bloating, blurred vision, and a few streaks under my ribs like once or twice a week. And it only lasts for a few hours.
Where before those symptoms lasted 4,5,or 6 days out of the week.

I am using resveratrol (knotweed) and will up the dose as it is one of the herbs helping you canefan. I tried HH capsules and stayed stable for a few months but then relapsed completely. I was taking up to 20 capsules a day. Also used Cumanda and clove bud oil.
I have read you need to address the biofilm with such things as cysteine and lumbrokinase. I think bart is something you have to throw just about everything at. You can't eradicate it with one or two antibiotics.
I also have read that lyme and the co infections need to be addressed and treated at the same time or they will just merry go round, one becoming suppressed, allowing the others to take over. It took me two years to figure this out and I believe it is the primary reason for my treatment failure.
So you can't talk about what to take for bart to get rid of it and leave babesia, borrelia etc sitting off to the side. I believe now that from the beginning we should assume we have EVERYTHING and treat for it all.
