Hi all,
Just got stool sample results from Doctor's Data testing on my 6 year old son. It showed 4+ for Klebsiella pneumoniae in his stool.

I would love to hear if anyone has had this and if so, how they treated it and what symptoms it caused you.

Thanks,

tickbattler

I had it - along with more not-so-pretties in the stool. Bacterial Dysbiosis of the gut is not too uncommon, I think, in the Lyme world.

We treated with a round of Xifaxin, if I remember correctly, which stays in the gut, and then my LLMD worked with an integrated meds doc to treat my gut. We also treated for tapeworm right at the outset, before moving to the integrated meds.

But the integrated meds doc was essential for forming a plan.

I took many, many supps from the integrated meds doc. It took quite some time, but we did manage to clear up the dysbiosis.

Thank you cactus! I'm glad to hear you were able to get rid of it. We are seeing a good doc next month who should be able to help heal his gut. He is an integrated doc as well.

Yes, I had this. I was tested because I had had severe diarrhea for a few years. I had trouble keeping the weight on, but the GI doc could find nothing wrong.

My LLMD did the Doctor's Data test. I took 21 days of Cipro, which made me feel much better, but was not enough. He told me to take some herbs (they are right on the test results).

Finally I discovered Humaworm treats it so took that. I also got rid of major parasites.

I did four rounds of Humaworm 90 days apart. I also took enula and triphala.

My gut was in such bad shape that it took quite a long time to get it back to normal. In addition to the herbs I used fermented foods and probiotics.
