I need to take a stool specimen in for c-diff test. I have a doctor's appt. tomorrow at 11:00 am.
This is more info that you care to know, but....I have my daily BM around 6:00 am.
Do I need to take the specimen earlier than 11:00 am for test accuracy? If not, do I need to refrigerate it prior to appt?
Is c-diff possible without diarrhea? Also, I only have 1-2 BMs in AM and then no more. I have experienced soft stools for months with stomach burning, which I associated with parasites. Could it possibly be c-diff?
