what does Buhner recommend? I am tired of paying Nutradmedix prices.

- Buhner does not recommend the TOA-free (as is Samento). He recommends the regular cat's claw as it's better for the nerve fibers.
He recommends the capsules from Rain-Tree, if I recall correctly. But, if you might want to read the book as it contains so much good detail. Or check his site as he also lists preferred sources and vendors' links.
I do well with the Cat's Claw tincture from Herb Pharm.

Don't waste your time on Nutramedix tincture or Buhner's herbs. Go to the doxycycline, ceftin, etc. It's much faster in getting results.

CherylSue - I'm curious, did you take any herbs? If so, which ones and for how long? I'm curious to know why you think abx are faster?
Thanks,

Personally, I like the combination of herbs and antibiotics. Recently, I've incorporated teasel root into my protocol and really think that's helped me a lot...esp. with long-standing, deeply-entrenched symptoms.

As Keebler said, Buhner recommends Raintree brand. It's very powerful stuff, so my non-expert advice would be to ramp up very slowly. Also, you may get the effects you need/can tolerate at well below Buhner's target dose.
