experinces with Factive appreciated. Easier to tolerate than levaquin??
also, i have seen numerous people post on drug interactions sights about the adverse event of a horrible rash that itches and can appear days after discontinuing...
appreciate your input.

Never had levaquin, but taking factive for a couple months now, no rash for me. Don't know what that means for you.

Hey feelfit, Factive has been one of my favorite most helpful meds. I did not tolerate pulsing it though, had to take it every day to keep symptoms suppressed.
If you develop a rash while on Factive stop taking it immediately and see a doctor to rule out cause. Remember, the people posting on the drug interaction/review sites are the ones that had problems with the med. Most people take their meds and forget about them as soon as they start to feel better.
I don't know how to compare Factive to Levaquin. I've not taken oral Levaquin, the IV seemed to have helped for awhile but it's not really been enough to get rid of this infection either. I was on Factive for a long time before switching to IV Levaquin.
Give it a try, and lets pray it works for you

I had that horrific rash. Within a couple hours felt like had a bad red sunburn. It took another week for it to totally go away.
Not the drug for me.
