One of my docs wants me to have this done. Any concerns? I don't think I ever have lately.

ha, uncle wants a TB test? they gave them to us as kids all of the time in school...not that that means anything!
as far as safety goes.
good luck seek. i think he's avoiding the real issue and grasping at straws with TB...but, if he wants to R/O TB...well...up to you.

I can't remember if theres actually something bad in the actual test.
All I know is I test pos. for TB yet I am asymptomatic. I needed to be treated with INH and B6 for a whole year because I was in the medical field.
If you test positive you will likely be asked to get a chest xray done. If your Dr. suspects some kind of lung problem ie breathing,coughing, fever,chills etc... this may be why they are looking at a possible TB issue.
Just a guess. All I know is I never have to have the test again because I will always test pos.
