I have been using a Candida Cleanse for 3 days now and have been experiencing very odd manifestations...

1. intermittent red neck, chest and arms, accompanied by sweating, feeling very hot.

2. discharge from eyes in the a.m...crusty

3. drainage (both clear and white like milk out of my nose

4. bronchial cough, not coming from lungs

my CT scan of my sinuses last week showed thickening in several sinuses. I do not have any infected looking drainage

I saw my PCP yesterday and asked if my sinuses could be fungal, she said that it could be, but rx'ed Levaquin to treat.

I think taking the abx while cleansing for yeast would be counter productive.

appreciate any thoughts, experiences. Thank you!

I do too!! The symptoms you mentioned COULD all be from yeast. I have heard of the sweating being a symptom.

On the humaworm site they talk about a cream you can use while doing their candida cleanse. There are some weird things that happen when the candida tries to escape throught the skin. [confused]

You might actually be killing some parasites too, that may account for the drainage.

Go take a look at what they said and see if this is you.

may i ask what you're taking? i've tried practically all the otc stuff and nothing works for me except prescription.

thanks guys.

i did not take my capsules today and have less drainage, less coughing and no red skin. the red skin only lasts for about 5-10 minutes hours after the dose.

i really think that the cleanse was/is doing it's job and I am suffering from die-off. My CT scan results showed thickening in my sinuses but the drainage is clear, not infected...this is what leads me to believe it is fungal.

i read a Mayo Clinic study that cited fungus as the cause of a majority of chronic sinus symptoms...

oh well, as always, left to my own devices to figure it all out!!

@apljack, hmmm, just looked at the ingredients again and i see that 'clove buds' are part of the mix. Could very well be killing some parasites too....
