For three days, I am taking only minocycline and no azithromycin or Plaquenil. This is because the next drug I will be taking (Factive) interacts with azithromycin, according to my doctor, and I need to clear the azithromycin from my body before taking it.
Then I will take the Factive for 5 days (it is a fluoroquinolone that one takes for only 5 days). Fingers crossed for the tendons! I sincerely hope I do not experience tendon pain, since then I would have to discontinue the drug.
Then, after I am done with the Factive, I will take azithromycin, Plaquenil, and a new drug for me, Septra.

It can affect the QT interval and thus affect your heart. So no, no macrolide with Levaquin. Use Doxy with it instead.
