My daughter sometimes has these very odd feelings in her face. Tonight she said it was like the left side of her face felt very thick and heavy.
Other times its feels like her face is sliding.
Doesnt happen often but I was wondering if anybody else ever felt this or would it could be?
Thanks,
Deb g

MIGHT be Bells Palsy... a lyme symptom. Is she being treated?

Our daughter mentions the face sliding. I am not sure which infection is to blame.
So sorry another child has to deal with these cruel infections.

I use to have this symptom. It never really developed into Bells Palsy though. Just felt funny. It has improved with treatment.

Yes she is being treated and has been for two years.
Making progress..albeit slowly...starting to treat for parasites this week. I remember when she was first sick she said it felt like her
face was sliding. Its happened a couple of times over the two years but her face always LOOKS normal but I agree it seems to be Bells Palsy to some degree.
Frustrating...
Jane...how is your daughter?

Deb My worst symptoms have been strange facial sensations. Bartonella treatment has made a difference for me in the past two months. Kris

I have/had this. It appears to have mostly gone away with treatment.
