I woke up this morning with the right side of my face in pain & even hurt when i touch the skin.. im getting nervous because its starting to swell now, Even my brother realizes it. its like pressure plus stabbing pain... Is this normal or should i be worried about bells palsy or related to my teeth pain?

Did you have your wisdom teeth pulled?

Bells Palsy is more of a drooping. Look online for stroke symptoms and run yourself through the battery of tests for this. A real quick easy test is to go smile in the mirror. Full smile, no stroke.

I am not a doctor. If you think this is serious enought to warrant, go to the hospital.

Lyme can also hit the trigemical nerve (I'm sure I spelled that wrong). neurologists will treat the pain but not necessarily solve the problem.

Good luck.

Sounds like if you have been having pain in your teeth, and now swollen face.. you could have an abcess tooth.

Have you seen a dentist lately for xrays if anything is going on?

If this stays swollen, I would see one for xrays. Could be an abcess or something that they can see in the usual xrays or a larger panorex xray of your whole jaw.

But... I'm not a doc... if you are still in pain an swelling... you do need to see someone. Your body is responding to something by pain and swelling.
