Not sure if this at all related. Yesterday I started taking this supplement called C Away (or something like that) for candida.
I also drank a lot of hot lemon water and did 10 mins in the sauna (first time) last night.
Woke up last night at 1:30am an was vomiting until 6am. this happened the first night I started my 3 antibiotic protocol back in early Jan.
At the time I thought it was the abx but then felt maybe it was an unlucky coincidence that I got a stomach bug at the same time I started abx.
I have never had 2 stomach bugs w/in 3 months of each other so trying to figure out if: *this is due to the supplement and/or sauna
*just a fluke stomach bug (that maybe I can't fight off as easily with my immune system being down.
Just wondering if anyone else has gotten sick like this when dealing w/ candida/detoxing?

I was over-enthusiastic using a fir sauna, and taking a Jernigan product, and had a brain herx.
Too much at once.

I haven't heard of this happening at all often, in fact I haven't even heard of it before. However, the oregano oil (in the C-Away) *can* be irritating to digestive tract linings and skin, other organ linings, etc.
Again this is a rare reaction but I could see where it might be possible.
This product may possibly not be for you, if you happen to be sensitive to it.
I would say try it again---teeny, tiny dose---and see how you do.
If you experience any adverse reactions, stop it immediately and ask for a refund.
Most people can tolerate oregano oil internally just fine and again I have never heard of this reaction. But again there is a possibility of it, since oregano (and thyme) oils can both irritate the skin if over-exposed or over-used. It sounds like you may possibly be very sensitive to it, but again I would re-try it at very tiny doses to rule this out.

I too just got an ifrared sauna & have been doing every day hard, & have felt many symptoms that have been subsided for awhile after doing hbot, I guess maybe this is for me related to detoxing the rest of this horrid disease! blessings

I have to space my infrared saunas at least a day apart. They have brought to the surface I believe what was hiding. I feel lyme symptoms that I only had glimmers of before - like in my joints etc. I do believe that the sauna can get to what is hiding deep... it has NOT been fun... But, the symptoms are waning as I move forward thus, I think we might be getting to the end. I pray so... Wishing you much success as well...

Thanks everyone. Yesterday was such an awful day. I was exhausted from being up since 1:30am until 6am getting sick and not going back to bed until 9 last night.
I can't get over having these two stomach bugs just 3 months apart when in the past I only had a stomach bug maybe once every several years.
My husband wasn't feeling well the night before I got sick (he was achy but didn't actually get sick). I wonder if I got something from him and because my system is compromised got hit harder.
I also do wonder if my body responded from detoxing. I have barely had what could be considered a herx from all the high does I am on for Rifampin, Flagyl and Ceftin.
Maybe detoxing is going to bring some of them out? I will go more slowly though.
Thanks for the feedback.
