YES. i had that exactly. it went away gradually improved and then it finally disappeared. for me, symptoms do a lot of morphing as they 'improve.' it felt like i had water in my ear from swimming (it felt wet but wasn't, there was pressure, and sounds were muffled). is this what you are experiencing?
i did not go to an ear doctor.

My ears drive me crazy sometimes. TBTG I don't have constant ringing and buzzing that some folks do. My ring/buzz is only minutes here and there.

They have been this way for a long time. I can knock it back, but it always comes back. Feels like an ear infection might feel like but they don't look inflammed to the doc. They are and so is my glands that run down from my ears.

I call it bart. But I don't know if it's bart, lyme or babs or someother bacteria like strep or staph??????????

Yes indeed, "sounds" are "muffled". It feels like all of a sudden my ears are full of wax! Maybe my body's natural detox at work? I suppose fairly large amount of Abx cause fairly large amounts of bacteria and all manner of other materials like yeast and mold to start moving around. Such a maddeningly strange and debilitating disease this is!!!!
