I thought my LLNP was going to contact an LLMD to ask questions regarding my treatment.

She just called me and said she hasn't been able to reach the person at Igenex.

Not sure who that person is. Do any of your docs consult w/ someone at Igenex??

If I were not considering pregnancy I would be ready to stop abx, but want to know what I should do (stay on meds/which ones/or discontinue and monitor to see if I continue to do OK w/out meds) so that I can consider pregnancy (sooner than later due to my age).

Anyway, would someone from Igenex be able to advise on this? I just left a message for Dr. J in CT.

OK...thanks.

I think you better find an LLMD.

Dr Harris at Igenex may be able to answer some of your ND's questions.

Who is Dr. Harris? Does he treat lyme patients? Wonder if that is who she left the message for.

I only need a consult. I am ready to end my treatment (feeling really good) but my LLNP is not experienced w/ lyme/pregnancy so want someone to review all my info and consult w/ me whether it is safe for me to consider pregnancy and if I need to be on abx or not.

He's the owner, not a practicing dr.

Best to talk to Dr J in CT about the pregnancy.

Thank you! Left a message at Dr. J's office today. Have many of you had a phone consult with him?

Hopefully someone from his office will call me back soon. I also left messages w/ two of the top LLMD's in NY.

Hopefully my LLNP will hear something back from Igenex too!

Anna, can you PM me as well? I want to have a baby too but I'm way too sick right now... but I'm very curious to know the risks. Getting way too old, adding Lyme issue would not be a good thing for us... not that I'm in any condition to carry a babe right now. Sigh... thanks!!

Thank you! CI--I just started IV chelation push to detox mercury (also going into the sauna a few times a week). I plan on being retested after doing about 6 of them to see where my levels are.

I won't consider pregnancy until I get the heavy metals and candida under control.

Scorpiogirl--I will let you know if I can get some more info. I want to do all my homework now to determine if/when I can consider pregnancy.

Would love to hear from others who have consulted w/ Dr. J or any other leading LLMD about pregnancy either on this thread or through a PM. Thanks.
