I can't figure out if this is lyme or babs. My thighs feel very heavy and ache walking upstairs.
Today my arms are aching too
I did increase my mepron from 1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp (plus 2 malarone) on Monday-my legs are real bad today. Would it hit this soon? Or is my lyme getting worse and I need to focus on that?
Thanks-beth

Babesia causes muscle pain in the large muscles of the thighs and buttocks. I have had the pain in my back as well. It is probably a herx. I am not sure if Bb causes body pain in the muscles. Do you feel tired/ breathless walking up the stairs? I sure do!

I have this too...I'm able to walk fast for exercise and usually am fine until going up-hill, then my leg muscles get tired and I gasp for breath...I can't run either, but that is because my shins and ankles/knees hurt too bad...not the muscles.
