What is Spetra used to treat? I am starting it on Monday and can't really find alot of info on it. I'm also taking zithromax.

I took Septra for Bartonella. I didn't have ant trouble with it. It can also be used to treat Babesia, with Malarone or Mepron.

Septra (Bactrim) is used to treat many infections. My lyme doc used it to get rid of my babesiosis because I could not take azithromyacin (so, he couldn't give me Mepron). He said it also treats bartonella. It worked great for me.
It's now been over 6 years since I completed my lyme treatment, and I am still symptom free, enjoying my life.
