No, I would think that would indeed be a bad combo!! Both of them can affect the heart.

Biaxin and Avelox are usually not prescribed together because of the risk of prolonged QT interval. This can cause mild symptoms like feeling faint and more severe symptoms like sudden death.
Drugs like this used to be combined more often until they learned of the risks.
Talk with your doctor. If you have no other option and need to take the combo then they should monitor your heart with frequent EKGs to make sure that there are no changes.
