Please advise......pharmacist is saying that nystatin should be taken away from abx by a couple of hours since it's an antifungal.....not sure if she's correct.

I have taken my Nystatin with my ABX for the past 18 months. No issues.

ABSOLUTELY! I took it for 4 yrs while on abx.
I always tried to space it, but it's not the same as a probiotic. A probiotic has to be spaced away from abx.
Taking Nystatin is like taking Diflucan. They both kill fungus, but the Nystatin does not affect the liver. Diflucan is much better at killing fungus once you get an infection.

I have been taking both together because I figured it was best to kill the yeast when it is most likely to proliferate - when the abx were taken. Hopefully that has been ok! I think the pharmacist was confusing the nystatin with probiotics.
