I've worked with many NDs who thought they knew all about lyme. They did not. Not at all. I should never have trusted them. But I had no choice at that time.

I wasted years of my life and most of my money (not all of my money as some of what I learned / did had some value, but just too generic).

With no LLMDs in my state, I did travel to see a couple LLMDs but could not afford to continue.

Finally, when a LL ND surfaced near me, I've also had a few appointments with an excellent ILADS-educated LL ND before my funds all ran out.

I've also had some information phone "interviews" and kept up with many of the LL NDs (and others with similar training) in other parts of the U.S. I learned a few key things but could not be treated by phone, of course.

Their knowledge base and experience can make all the difference but so does what we can afford to undertake.

Most important: is your LL ND ILADS "educated" in all matters and keep up with the ILADS conferences, etc.?

If not, I would find one who is, if possible.

Otherwise, they can be "taking the body apart" forever but if they don't understand all the ways borrelia spirochetes (in all their forms) work,

and all the other stealth infections and unique dysfunctions from "lyme complex"

Now, if they are very LL and ILADS "aware" still, there are just so many aspects of this to consider. Each LLMD and LL ND seems to have their strengths.

You can compare and contrast some of their thought processes and approaches here:

I found that only combination of antibiotics with herbs work for me.
Tried IV blood iraradiation , Rife , Bionic and HERBS originally .They made my blood work looked OK but never sent me to the remission.I have had to combine all this protocoll and still fighting.

I have a severe case of Babesia for over a decade. So bartonella was over 2 decades in me.WHen you were just bitten that is diferent.

The time of the infections is essential.
