I know Rifampin works for bartonella but does it do anything for Lyme?

My understanding is that it treats both Lyme and certain co-infections when used with doxy or one of the other cyclines. This is what my LLMD told me anyhow.

When speaking with some 'seasoned' Lyme patients who have tried many meds, I was told that this is the gold standard cocktail for fighting both Lyme and co.
