since I am suffering pretty much from Bart Rash (huge parts of my body are literally blemished), I wonder if antibacterial creams, which are directly applied to the skin, could help preventing the Rash from further expansion.
I'm really not sure about this. In a german plattform, people told me that it would be useless, since Bart damages part of the blood and has no direct influence on the skin...

If you want to try something topically.... my two best guesses would be either coconut oil or tea tree oil. I think I would try coconut first. Certainly couldn't hurt. Plus it smells wonderful and feels good on. I started using it as a moisturizer on my legs and feet. Love it.
