I got a called from my llmd today and she said I was highly positive for EBV, microplasma, parvo, hhvs, all kinds of viruses and that I need to go on this transfer factor. what is it and is it safe? Never heard of it before. Also said I had band 34 so probably lyme also.

thank you Lymetoo for responding to me. She said I would probably herx from it, why if its an immune booster, I am so confused Lymetoo. Does it fight lyme also? She said I was band 34 positive so do I have lyme also or could you have all these viruses so positive without having lyme?

"In my clinical experience, if a patient has symptoms suspicious for Borreliosis, and has one or more of the following bands, there is a very high probability the patient has Borreliosis.
These bands are 18, 22, 23-25, 28, 30, 31, 34, 37, 39, 41, 83, and 93.

So happy you finally have some answers. Now you know what is in your body that is making you so ill. Vindication for your piece of mind.
You present with symptoms of Lyme and band 34 is specific for Lyme. If it were me, I would start treating for Lyme. Ask your doctor how she intends to treat you for the Lyme.
I take the same products mentioned in Hopingandpraying's response. They are supplements and are very safe. IMO, you need something else added to address your chronic Lyme.
I would also ask your LLMD or an allergist ( insurance covered), to test your IGG 1 thru 4 classes to see how your immune system is functioning. Immune support supplements are a MUST. But so is a functional immune system.
I take monolaurin (supplement) for EBV and other viruses. My last month's blood work showed high EBV (750) normal is around 18. So the monolaurin isn't remotely working. Most LLMD'S say treat the Lyme and the rest will get mopped up by your immune system. I'm not so sure.
Mycroplasmas are tough to treat. Goal is to lower the load. I'm on antibiotics that cover Lyme and mycroplasmas.
Be sure to drink ALOT of lemon water throughout the day to get rid of the toxins created by killing off all these Infections. Things might get tough during treatment, but keep your eyes on the big picture.

Thanks Bonnie. She did not say I have lyme specifically, but did again mention band 34. She did say I can have the viruses without lyme or with lyme and she did not mention treating lyme right now. She said to start with the supplements three times a week working up to everyday and then working up to taking two a day. she said she would see me in three months, NO lyme treatment at this point. I am confused, why didn't she test me for these viruses a year ago. I am the one who mentioned them last weeks visit. She said "they are all very high positives"., sending me the lab results with these supplements.

Bonnie, I have also been diagnosed last week by my gastro with ibs. He put me on bentyl and it is doing nothing. Any suggestions for this horrific belly pain all day. ugh.

Sorry but I think you need to see an LLMD. Your Dr doesnt seem to be equipped to be treating you for these infections. Any LLMD would be treating your lyme (yes you do have lyme from what you've said) and would also be treating the viruses possibly with antivirals and also aggressive herbs.
Youre being undertreated and you're going to let precious time go by and not have the help you need. If you need help finding an LLMD people on this message board can help you.
