I spoke with my LLMD today. Last month we discussed chelating metals.
My tests were: Arsenic: 41 Range (0-50) Mercury: 1 Range (0-19)
This month she agrees with me that these are within range but then says I could chelate but didn't have enough time to go into the details with me. Then she said I could take HMD on my own and ALA. I looked up info on HMD and the reviews were not very good but ALA was but was usually taken with DMSA. So, Im wondering if at this point I can just take the ALA. Will this do anything?
She wasn't concrete on if I really need this or not. Im thinking of finding out if just not drinking my water would help and of course testing it for arsenic.

Andrew Cutler (author of Amaglam Illness, etc.)
Absolutely advocates using ALA for chelation of mercury, but says it must be givin every 3 hours, even at night
(This is his opinion, he is a chemist, has a very large following on yahoo groups for chelation)
Again, he is fanatical about it every 3 hours to prevent distribution.

Thank you surprise. I know people on this site use it for regular detox and I'm sure other do also. I wonder if they didn't know they had a mercury issue and used this if it would cause harm. I was just going to take a regular dosage but this changes things. Thanks!
