I did not find that one particular bug/abx helped me - mainly because I was depressed from being so sick, family life, etc. etc.

Others hopefully may chime in with a better answer.

I am sure some of the meds I took helped - I was so sick it all ran together for me.

PM me if you wish and we can talk further....

I also needed an antidepressant. There are varying opinions on this - I just say everyone has to make their own informed decision.

Try to find something fun, pleasing, or beautiful in your day. Some days I had to really stretch that (oh, I hear a birdie sing !!) and then I would laugh at how I had to reach for that daily resolve.

Stay in touch with us.....

Taking a 12x pulsatilla homeopathic remedy tablet on a daily basis got me high. How I started: I had forgotten I had taken one the nite before and couldn't figure out why I was so happy the next day!

ADHD meds. They were prescribed for diagnosed ADHD, but they may be treating the reduced blood flow to the brain. It was incredibly difficult to function without them. Hopefully proper TBD treatment will make them unnecessary someday.

Some people use essential oils for mood.

Depression can result when the brain cells are not getting enough oxygen, glucose, and other vital nutrients.
You can do multiple things to improve bloodflow and the way the cells function.

Systemic enzymes reduce fibrin and inflammation, letting the red blood cells move easily through the capillaries.

Magnesium provides the mineral most needed for the enzyme processes in the cells to work.
The Lyme bacteria is in our body's cells, using up the magnesium and causing many of our symptoms.

Fish oil improves the integrity of the cell membranes.
Everything must move across the cell membranes to get in and get the nutrients to the mitochondria for them to make energy.

Antioxidants reduce the free radicals that are byproducts of energy production.

Endorphins cause a "feel good" sensation, and can be triggered by exercise, music, sex, and hot peppers.

Hot peppers also make the capillaries dialate, or enlarge.
The skin flushes, the alveoli (tiny air sacs in the lungs) enlarge, and more blood flows throughout the body.

People with asthma find it's easier to breathe, people in pain feel better, and mood improves.

This is why magnesium and fish oil improve depression.
Systemic enzymes and antioxidants will help.
And for a quick but temporary fix, eat something with capsaicin.
