I am in my late 50's and was told today by the eye doc that I have the beginning of cataracts in both eyes.
Anything that can slow them down? Supplements, etc?
Thanks

I have heard of something that helps, but sorry I can't remember what it is. Cataracts sometimes progress to a certain place and then stabilize. Most ppl do get them with age.
I use to hear that carrots helped the eyes.

. . . bridges the gap between Eastern and Western medicine to inform you how the eye is connected to the rest of the body. -

Remind me to ask my Dr about the supplements he suggested for my husband. At the time he told us about them, we couldn't afford them.
Be sure to wear quality sunglasses. You might want to look into Noir glasses.
and yes, mangosteen is EXCELLENT for this

Carnosine is supposed to slow them down and even reverse them. You can buy drops and/or capsules.
I think CanC is one brand you might look up.

I've been using Can C for about two months. My right eye was supposed to be worse but neither one was close to needing surgery yet.
When I check the eyes individually, I think that the brightness of light is the same in both now.
I'll be seeing eye doctor in August and hope he'll be surprised that they've improved. I won't volunteer the info that I've been using it unless he says they've improved when I ask if there's a change.
