What infection is causing this??? It's making me nuts. Could it be bart? It's the only infection I haven't really gone after.

Can't answer your questions, just letting you know you're not alone in this!

I had that when I was real sick with LD. Sometimes it would also feel numb on the bridge of my nose.

There is a recent thread on protomyzoa rheumatica (sp?) that describes sinus pressure as one of the many symptoms. I have this as well.

May not always be Lyme related…This has been a bad summer for allergies, mode, weed etc.

For me this was neurological. I would also have numbness at the tip of my tongue. I believe it was Lyme. It got better with Lyme treatment.

I just started seeing a LLND this summer who did ART testing. She said I have Bart in my jaw. I see her again in a few weeks and will discuss all this stuff going on in my sinuses.

I am taking some homeopathic meds as well as A Bart and Artemesinin Essentials from Hopkinton Compounding Pharmacy.

She suggested I try using neti pot rinses weekly with 1 tsp manuka honey and 100 cc distilled water. I tried this for 3 weeks, but became so congested that I decided to stop it. I may have done something wrong by blowing my nose the wrong way after the rinse. But for now I am staying away from the neti pot.

I just had a cat scan of my left sinus due to all the strange sensations I have been having there along with the nasal congestion. (Tingling and fluid moving sensations) I forgot to add that I had an infected tooth and surrounding bone tissue extracted in June.

I doubt the scan will show anything other than inflammation. But if I learn anything new, I will post it. Glad I am not alone.
