Hi Friends,

I haven't been on the board in ages because I've been doing so well with my lyme treatment.

Well, Friday I was diagnosed with the flu. It is absolutely awful. I am on day 4, and I might even be feeling worse. The fatigue and weakness is so overwhelming I can hardly get around. I also feel jittery/anxious like my immune system is in overdrive.

Have any of you gotten the flu this year? Has it been this bad?

I welcome any suggestions as this board is usually full of great information.

Thanks y'all!

I think I had it. I was so exhausted I couldnt get out of bed. Crippling head pain. But I had a low fever not high. Really bad shaking and chills. Eye and chest pain. Eww really sick. Took at least a week before I even felt human.

This is one thread I found. Maybe others can remember other posts.

Sleep, rest, fluids.

Sorry......

Both my parents had a flu that lasted two weeks. It was unbelievable. And it will come back on you. So once you feel better, don't go charging back into life and get over tired. Pace yourself. Feel better soon!
